Message from Bishop Tim and Elect Lady Tongela Davis

 

I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. – Psalm 34:1-3

 

 

We would like to extend an invitation to everyone to come join Hallowed Be Thy Name as we exalt the LORD through praise, prayer, and preaching. We’re a body of believers committed to faith, love, obedience, and worship in the Spirit of God. We believe that as born-again believers of God we have the power and authority through the declaration of our faith to receive the promises of God. As believers the words we speak ultimately frame our world for we acknowledge that the power of life and death is in the tongue. Therefore, we speak from our heart the abundant power of the Word of God and pledge not to allow destroying thoughts based on the affairs and traditions of this world to hinder our blessings. God declared in Isaiah 56:7 that mine house shall be called a house of prayer for all people. Hallowed Be Thy Name was ordained of God as a church for people who desire a spiritual change and not a venue to grumble and complain. For faith requires us to believe those things that are not, love requires us to endure those things that are, obedience requires us to do those things that God commands, and worship requires us to serve and honor the God who cares.

Our mission, as a body of believers, is to lead people into a relationship with Jesus Christ through a life transforming experience by the indwelling of the Holy Ghost and the renewing of their mind. We are striving to effectively change the world through the gospel of Jesus Christ, one person, one family, and one community at a time.
